From the first viewing of Sonachan House we felt “At Home” The lovely Edwardian building with beautiful original features, stunning sea views and amazing location made us feel that it would be the perfect setting for our new life and adventures.
About us
Leanne and Aaron both from Bristol longed for the coastal living lifestyle. Aaron previously working in the scaffolding industry for 30 years wished to fulfil his dream of living and working as a commercial fisherman on the South Devon Coast. Leanne previously working in the hospitality and care sector was excited at the prospect of putting her previously gained knowledge and personal touches into a new exciting business, igniting her passion to run her own guest house. Eventually in late August 2022 the dream turned into reality when Leanne and Aaron became the proud owners of Sonachan House.

In their free time Leanne and Aaron are both big foodies and love to try the local restaurants and try new ideas at home. Leanne loves to read, crafting and really enjoys meeting up with friends and family for a coffee and a natter. Aaron loves cooking and taking the dog for a walk (mainly as an excuse to visit the harbour and gaze at the boats) asides from fishing Aaron’s biggest leisure activity was rugby having played for a local Bristol club from a very young age up until injury forced him to stop. Together they love nothing more than to snuggle up together and watch a good film.
